HISTORY

In early 2025, under the direction of Warehouse Circus’ CEO Aleshia Johnson, Capital Performing Arts Warehouse purchased Perform Australia’s RTO which included a Certificate IV in Acting and an 11017NAT Advanced Diploma of Performance. As the only accredited acting school in Canberra, Hand to Hand Academy continue their efforts to push and facilitate accredited acting, adding and upgrading to this suite of courses with a 11434NAT  Certificate IV in Performance with the addition of a circus oriented pathway for existing Warehouse Circus students.

We continue to strive for excellency in the performing arts, broadening our horizons through our new courses and short courses, hoping to create a safe space for actors and performers alike can study and train right here in Canberra, or remotely with our wonderful staff in Brisbane.

 

Prior to 2025:

Warehouse Circus is a grassroots non for profit organisation based in the ACT, training circus and physical theatre artists who have gone on to work in circus companies all around the world.

Perform Australia is an acting school based in Canberra for stage and screen who once provided accredited training in these disciplines – While still running their recreational programs, they sold the RTO to us and now we provide the accredited training!
